This is a two-star hotel, suitable for those travelling for work and pleasure. It is an old building in town that needs some refreshment. The host was excellent and the bedding and room were exceptionally clean all a short walk from some excellent restaurants. The breakfast was traditional but exceptionally fresh, literally straight from the baker.

I had stayed here six months previously, so I knew what to expect. A friendly welcome, free parking on the street outside, and a comfortable room. All of which remain the same. I like the 'Frenchness' of this little establishment, and it's only a short walk from the city centre.

JJ the owner was lovely! We broke down en route and he reassured us when we called to say we were going to be late, and he gave us a bigger room. A great location and lots of nice restaurants and park nearby. Perfect for stopover or longer!

I got into serious trouble with my car and the proprietor, who likes to be known as Gigi, was extraordinarily helpful and with the help of his friend across the road made it possible for me to continue across the Channel. I could not be more grateful.

Gigi, the proprietor, is a fantastic human . Speaks great English , was kind to my children and available when needed .
